Hello,
My name is Fallon Graham, and in my professional life, I am an education leader, strategic planner, and award-winning researcher who helps schools and communities turn bold visions into meaningful action. As the Director of Planning, Policy & Research for one of Virginia's largest school divisions, I lead initiatives in strategic planning, policy development, legislative advocacy, and program evaluation, always with one goal in mind: ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
My career has spanned from the classroom to the central office, which has allowed me to develop practical insight and actionable strategies that anyone can confidently apply. I earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech and have gained national recognition, including the Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning Award, the Glen Earthman Fellowship, and the Virginia Educational Research Association's Distinguished Paper award for my research and leadership in educational planning.
I believe the best plans are the ones communities believe in, and she shows leaders how to build buy-in, engage stakeholders, and create lasting momentum. Whether speaking to principals, central office administrators, superintendents, school boards, or community leaders, my message is simple: transformation happens when strategy and community come together.
When not at work, I’m a wife, a mother of two amazing kids, and two lovable dogs who keep life interesting. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me on the soccer field coaching my daughter’s team, curled up with a good book, or planning our next family adventure. I love to travel, explore new places, and spend quality time outdoors, including camping. Yes, in a tent. Yes, on the ground.
At home, I enjoy cooking meals that bring my family together and, although they are far and few between, spending quiet moments embroidering. Whether I’m leading, coaching, creating, or exploring, I try to approach every part of life with gratitude, curiosity, and heart.
